How to Cook Stock Meatloaf

***If frozen, thaw overnight in the refrigerator on a plate or pan.

  • From thawed/unfrozen state:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

  2. Remove meatloaf from package and place on a sheet pan with sloping sides to prevent potential runoff of juices. Place in oven and cook for about 50 minutes or until 155°F internal temperature is achieved.

  3. Remove from oven and let rest on the counter for about 10 minutes. Remove and place on cutting board for serving.

  4. For gravy, pour juices into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Whisk in AP flour one teaspoon at a time until desired consistency is achieved. Simmer for another 5 minutes, taste and adjust if necessary, add chopped herbs if you like, and pour over sliced and plated meatloaf. 

 If glazing, from the beginning, place in oven for 30 minutes, then remove and apply glaze. Return pan to the oven for another 20 minutes or until 155°F is achieved. (Dial in your own glaze recipe, or use equal parts Stock Demi Glace and ketchup for a quick home run.)
